Accommodations
Discounted room rates for participants at the Hilton Burbank Airport - $79 per room sgl or dbl occupancy. Call 1-800-HILTONS by 9/27/00 and request the special group rate for the Senior Women's Classic, 10/4-8/00.
Luncheon/Fashion Show/Auction/Prize Drawing
Saturday, October 7 - from Noon to 2:00 PM. Cost is $5 (adults) $3 (Children 12 and under) for complete lunch. You may send in lunch ticket money with your entry or sign up at the tournament desk. There will be no refunds for lunch tickets purchased in advance and not used. Must be present at luncheon to win a prize. Head Racquet Sports will conduct a racquet demo on Center Court immediately following the luncheon.
Net Proceeds to Charity
The net proceeds from this event will be donated to the EncorePlus Program of the YWCA of Glendale, a program for the early detection of breast and cervical cancer.
Rummage Sale
Donate your used tennis clothing (tennis racquets, shoes and accessories also accepted) to our rummage sale. You may call to arrange for pick-up prior to the tournament or bring the day of your first match. All proceeds from the rummage sale will go to the YWCA of Glendale's EncorePlus Program.
"For Fun" Consolation
On Saturday and Sunday of the tournament players who have lost in any round of the tournament may come back to play in a fun consolation round robin. The round robin will be held at Brace Park. Singles will be held in the morning from 9-11:30 AM. Doubleswill be held in the afternoon from 2:30 - 5:00 PM. Sign up at the tournament desk.
